JAMES F. STURMAN (Hillsdale College BS 71') has been selling in our industry since 1971 when he joined his father in the manufacturer's representative business. Over the past forty years Sturman has sold virtually every type of account with a vast array of general merchandise products. These account types include major independents, mass merchants, grocery chains, drug chains, dollar stores, specialty chains and distributors.

Sturman has developed programs and sold these account types traditional programs within the scope of our industry as well as innovating unique marketing programs between the manufacturer and the customer. He takes great pride in dealing ethically and fairly with either side of a sales situation.

Nancy Whitfield (Purdue University BS 79') has had industry experience on the selling side as well as the buying side in the Craft Industry. Her resume includes employment with the Singer Company, Simplicity Pattern Company, Berwick Industires, Concord Fabrics and Rust Wholesale Company. This experience has given her a unique perspective to efficiently deal with major customers. 

Nancy's attention to detail and follow through has been instrumental in successfully establishing and maintaining programs with major retailers throughout the country. Nancy joined Sturman and Company, Inc in September, 2004. Due to her immediate success, she was asked to join the firm as an owner in January, 2006.
